I was honored to be a member of the inaugural class of Leadership Maryland in 1993, and I found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. The Leadership Maryland program was immeasurably enriched by the excellence and varied experiences and expertise of my classmates. The result was an extremely exciting and enlightening experience. Perhaps, in fact, the greatest benefit of the program was forming close friendships with outstanding individuals from all over the state with whom I continue to be in contact, both professionally and personally.
