Leadership Maryland is proud to be associated with Maryland Leadership Workshops.

We are very excited about the partnership between Maryland Leadership Workshops, Inc. (MLW) and Leadership Maryland.  For more than 50 years MLW has challenged Maryland youth to realize their leadership potential.  For 15 years Leadership Maryland has challenged Maryland's adult leaders to more fully develop their potential.  We look forward to creating synergy in identifying opportunities for our organizations to enhance one another and exercise leadership to improve communities throughout Maryland. 

We share the belief that leadership is of paramount importance in addressing the challenges faced by society and improving our local communities. As we continue our adventure together, we share tremendous optimism and enthusiasm in carrying out our complementary missions to enable Maryland's youth and adults to realize their leadership potential and further develop the skills and characteristics to succeed in all facets of their lives.

MLW's summer residential leadership programs are held at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland .  If you know of any middle or high school students who would benefit from a fun, exciting week of learning about leadership, please send your email to info@mlw.org or call 301-527-8222.  It will be a magical experience from which students will emerge as confident, empowered catalysts for positive change. 

Additionally, MLW is often hired by groups of students and teachers to conduct outreach programs in individual schools and communities throughout Maryland.  Programs vary from several hours to several days and are specifically tailored to meet the leadership needs and goals of each particular group.
